Founded in December 2014, the female-founded company delivers proven social media marketing results. Services include social media management, content creation, paid digital advertising, email and SMS Text marketing, influencer marketing, graphic design, branding, professional photography and videography, TikTok and Reels creation, marketing strategy, podcast production, and more. This is an entry-level position at a growing company! We are looking for the right person to grow alongside us! If you want to start your career in Social Media Marketing, this is the job for you.

As a Social Media Strategist at Renaissance Marketing Group, you will be responsible for working directly with your Account Manager to execute their strategies. You will create monthly social media content calendars for your clients. You will collaborate with other social media strategists and account managers to create reels, TikTok, Instagram stories, etc for your list of clients. 

This position is 50% Creative, 30% Strategic, and 20% Client Facing.

Social Media Strategist Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Account Manager to deeply understand the client’s vision, voice, branding, and goals.

  • Developing social media content that aligns directly to account managers’ overall strategy and objectives.

  • Delivering monthly content calendar to Account Manager within the appropriate amount of time

  • Creating content for specific platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Linkedin Pinterest, etc.

  • Scheduling Approved content within company scheduling platforms.

  • Coordinating/Attending on-site content visits with the account manager.

  • Collaborating daily with the Account Manager to develop creative content ideas/execution plans.

  • Executing creative ideas

  • Being able to successfully accept constructive criticism, understand it, and apply it to the work you do and the content you create.

  • Reporting directly to Account Managers needs

  • Assisting Account Manager on day to day assigned tasks

Required Skills 

  • At least one year of social media experience

  • A Creative mindset!

  • Brilliant communication skills

  • Creative and passionate about creating Social Media Content that converts!

  • Sets goals & holding self & others to high standards of performance.

  • Consistently acts with integrity & invests in building trust with all colleagues & clients

  • Time management and organization

  • 1+ years in social media marketing preferred.

  • Must be grammatically proficient and have the ability to proofread social media content

  • Must have the ability to create TikTok/Reel content

  • Must be comfortable managing time, expectations, and clients
